The return on your investment is difficult to measure but of incredibly high value: families stay together during a time of crisis, parents further their education, gain self-esteem and life skills, learn all aspects of finding and retaining employment, and how to find safe, affordable housing. The local community benefits by lifting a family out of a dire situation and the whole family moves toward stability and self-sufficiency.

You can donate gently used household items to help give the families of Family Promise of Greater Cleveland a fresh start. Through our Welcome Home program we pick up furniture and items that are in high demand for families that have completed our residential program and moved into their own housing. Pick ups are the 3rd Saturday of every month but we can coordinate accepting drop-offs with advance notice. We accept only gently used items to help our families start their new household with dignity. Most furniture is accepted, except for queen and king-sized beds, sofa beds and very large items or appliances. Contact Gina Morris to arrange a pick up.
